Last summer you could find us in Middelkerke during the Olympic Festival , where visitors could participate in our Bite the Medal campaign .
Just like athletes biting into their gold medals upon victory, we created 10,000 Natural Butter Waffles medals that people could take pictures with and win a fun prize.
The event itself was a great success, but we were even happier to receive the prestigious Coup de Coeur award , voted for by the public, at the Belgian Sponsorship Awards . A wonderful reward for the hard work of all our colleagues, as this event wouldn't have been possible without them. Staffing a stand with three colleagues for 17 days was no easy feat, and neither was making the medals in our bakery and finishing them in Middelkerke. So, this wonderful recognition brought us joy!
